What members hear when they join

The verbal consent script used at participating clubs. Vantage, operated by Thrive Complete Fitness Systems, LLC (Thrive CFS). Effective August 18, 2026.

When a new member joins a club that uses Vantage, club staff collect the member's mobile number for their member record and ask for texting consent in person, using this script:

“Your membership advisor will be your main point of contact here. Is it okay if they send you SMS text messages at this number about your membership, like help getting started and scheduling visits? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop the texts, or HELP for help. Our terms are at vantage.thriveinsights.app/terms and our privacy policy is at vantage.thriveinsights.app/privacy.”

If the member agrees, their number is recorded in their member record and their advisor may text them. If they decline, they are not texted. A member can also opt in, or opt back in, at any time by texting START to their club's number, and can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP, which is honored immediately at both the carrier and platform level.

The first SMS text message sent to any number additionally identifies the sender and their purpose and repeats the opt-out instruction, appended automatically by the platform. A rendered example is shown on the messaging consent and compliance page.
